Rozzie Evening Ride: Sherrin Woods, Stony Brook Reservation (Friday 8/7, 6 PM, Adams Park)

Specifics about this ride are below the dashed line. But first, some important general information:

Check out linktr.ee/RozzieBikes for links to all our social media, including our email list to get these announcements sent to you directly!

** Note ** Once per year, we are asking you to complete a release before you ride. You can do it on your phone at the ride start, but can save time by following this link:

Why are we leading these short evening rides?
– To show that there are low(er) stress routes around the neighborhood and “you CAN get there from here” by bike
– To get to know some neighbors who like to ride
– To learn little about safe and effective cycling and group riding

Please read some Important information about these rides in this document: tinyurl.com/RozzieRides

Finally, here’s a link to a consolidated calendar that includes rides and events from RozzieBikes, Parkway Cycling Club and West Rox Bikes plus selected other rides: tinyurl.com/Southwest-Boston-Bike-Events
==============================

A 6-ish mile low(er)-stress ride using the Rozzie Wiggle (a flat, back route to Hyde Park) passing by Sherrin Woods, the city’s largest Urban Wild, and climbing up into Stony Brook Reservation toward Turtle Pond (yes, it’s ok to walk if too steep, and, yes, we won’t lose anyone) down a nice smooth hill and back to the Square via the Belgrade Ave bike lane. As usual, there is some traffic, so you should be comfortable on streets also, but we’ll get ya through it!

This route includes a mile or so of unpaved or not-well-paved path. Road alternatives are available – let the leader know in advance.

Afterward, perhaps some food or drink in the Square, if anyone is interested.

As you arrive in the park, if there are people there, please slow down or dismount – let’s not disturb others who are using the park.
