Why are we leading these short evening rides?

  • To show that there are low(er) stress routes around the neighborhood and “you CAN get there from here” by bike
  • To get to know some neighbors who like to ride
  • To learn little about safe and effective cycling and group riding

Let’s go on an elephant safari! About 14 miles round trip, we’ll ride to Commonwealth Avenue Mall (between Dartmouth and Fairfield) to see the 100 elephants that are installed here (through September 13, 2026).

Afterward, perhaps some food or drink in the Square, if anyone is interested.

As you arrive in the park, if there are people there, please slow down or dismount – let’s not disturb others who are using the park.
