Open from 9:00 to 1:30, this is one of the most popular markets in the city, and Roslindale Village Main Streets has generousely donated booth space for us on August 22 in Adams Park. We will be there to share information, answer questions, and let people know of our activities.
Note the this will NOT be a bike repair event, though we’re always happy to talk about bikes (who isn’t?). The good news is that our monthly free bike repair (see separate post) will take place on the following Thursday, the 27th, from 4:30 to 7:30 in Birch Street Plaza.
Rozzie Bikes is our neighborhood’s bike advocacy and information group, with various other initiatives for the community such as bike repairs and advice as well as providing bikes to immigrants in need. Parkway Cycling Club is a very active group that runs several rides each week. Between our two groups, there’s plenty to talk about, so stop by and say hi!
